My crew went down to spend the 4th weekend with Doug in Ocean Springs. We had a fun time hanging out and visiting with him. I used to call him...Brad's friend...but now I consider him "my friend" too. He is great and loves our boys...and our boys LOVE Doug. We went to a local fishing rodeo on Friday night. Never been to one of these events before...talk about HUGE fish!
There was a band that was about to start playing and huge fans right infront of the stage. My boys took it upon themselves to entertain the crowd before the band started playing. They were just "breaking it down" to the background music playing...love it!
There was a little carnival there and had some ok rides for the boys to ride. We walked around and looked at all of the rides and let the boys choose a few to ride. No clue what Bradley is looking at in this photo above but priceless pic of Toby that I had to share...he was so happy to just be there with the group!
My boys are obsessed with motorcycles. This was such a kiddi ride but they were so pumped to ride it and when they got on...you would have thought they were going to take off and ride into the sunset together. They were such in the moment and loving it. Before we left for home on Sunday Doug gave Carson 4 of his motorcycle magazines. Carson had to carry them to the car, let his brothers look at some of them on the ride home, and when we got home he put one of them in his tote bag and took it to Nana and Slick's house to show them what Doug had given him. Doug...he has his helmet, gloves, and t-shirt picked out...now he only needs the bike!
