My birthday treat

This little red head was my birthday treat! (plus his mom and an awesome club sandwich from McAllisters) It was such a fun little special treat. My birthday was such a crazy day...I guess that's how it goes as you get older and your kiddos become so involved in things.

Mac & Carla brought lunch and we ate it in the middle of the floor in my office.
Had to get a group shot before we had to go separate ways...Fun!

Happy Birthday Slick

Lots of craftiness going on last night at our house. (I love craftiness!)

FYI: Carson was worn out and watching Harry Potter in our bed

Megan has crafty skills and I love it! She did great! She got just as excited when I mentioned the idea of getting crafty as I usually do. Still can't get this girl to say "cheese" to me. She's laughing at me in this picture b/c I told her that she was going to sleep in the big dog house if she did not look at me. It did not work!

So what is all this craftiness about...well, it is about this really important guy that we all call "SLICK." He is the best father-in-law (seriously, I'd compare him to yours any day and win :), best dad (lots of time spend together on our farm with just Brad and Slick), best grandfather (never seen a more hands on and supportive person to my kids...except poopy diapers.)

We love you so much Slick...you are so special to us! Happy Birthday to YOU!

Joan P. White is a special person.
She started out as my tennis coach when I was 5 yrs old with my matching outfits all the way down to my coordinating ribbons in my hair...she coached me all the way thru high school to win South State and State doubles. Then coached me (over the phone) thru college tennis when I played #1 singles and doubles at MC. But that is only touching the surface of how this lady has played a part in my life...for the past 12 yrs I have talked to her on the phone sometimes daily and other times just a few time per week. She knows all about me and I love that! I'm so appreciative of the love and support that she has given me not just in the past 12 years but since we met, while she was teaching me tennis even with my matching ribbons in my hair!

Happy Birthday GG! We love you vey much!

We had a fun time in Canton Saturday evening celebrating Easter and also GG and Meme's birthdays. Mom made her own cake because she makes the best cakes. It was really cute the way it was shaped like an Easter egg. Chocolate on the inside and cream cheese icing with M&M candies...ooooo it was so yummy! Mom asked for a soup ladle and that is what she got...a big one! We have enjoyed getting to spend so much time with her now that my boys know that she has a beach and she shares it with us...just like we have a lake and we share it with her...(quote from Gage Kennedy ~ her sweetheart!) We love you GG and you are very special to us!

It was also Meme's birthday the week.

Bday Party with Meme and Papa

We didn't figure that Meme and Papa would realsly get "into" the Pump It Up Party so we headed to Chick Fil A afterwards and had supper with them. It was perfect.

The gave the boys a new pair of cowboy boots each and they were so excited!
I think it is so cool that my kids have great-grandparents! I had one until I was 26!

Ahhhh...the coolest party room ever. The birthday boys got to sit on the big thrown chair and open their presents. It was so much fun!

Pump It Up (1 of 4)

This was the best and most relaxing birthday party I've ever hosted. First thing one of the guys stood everyone up and we all hollered at Gage and Toby "Happy Birthday!" Then they got to lead up back to the jumpie rooms.

Brad has just as much fun as the little kids. He couldn't get his shoes off quick enough! He and KayKay went down the slide first.

Power Ranger Cupcakes

After breakfast for supper on his birthday we got baths and headed over to Nana and Slicks.

They were actually home so we took advantage of it and let them help us sing to Gage and enjoy a bite of these yummy cupcakes. Carson was belting out the words to "happy birthday."

Oooo today is Monday...it's the Pump It Up Party! So lots fun will be happening around here this afternoon. I will have MANY pictures to share I'm sure. Can't wait to see the cake...it's very special because of WHO made it...GG! She makes the best cakes ever!!!
