My Tumbler!

This post contains the correct video! My friend Jamie watched it and told me this morning that she couldn't figure it out...it would help if I would actually look at the post before I posted huh? So now you can enjoy what I was trying to put together LATE the other night!

Let me set the stage before you watch this video. Been tumbling/jumps/cheer for 1 1/2 hrs and doing really good and having lots of fun. Really working on double back handspring with a layout (which is your legs staight - a tuck is your legs bent) for a few weeks now. Doing great today. Coach said if you throw it right then girls won't have to do condition workout (the girls hate it...b/c it 's exercise like jump and jacks and such)...did not do it the first time just right. Said ok...double or nothing...if you get it this time girls only will have to do 1/2 of the workout...ok?

NOW you can watch the video and see what happened...

Told you she was good...

Who let the dawgs out?

Gage has learned the song "who let the dawgs out" and his version is way too funny. He and Mom were walking at Meme and Papa's a few weeks ago and she was trying to teach him "hotty toddy" and then he just broke out into song "who let the dawgs out." I just had to laugh. So it has been on this mind (this song) for a few weeks. But now he has his own version of the song and it is way too funny...enjoy a good laugh.

My purpose for going...

Rita (aka Mammie) was my true purpose in going to Mom's on the beach. Rita and Mom were college roommates and have been super close ever since. I was in college in NW Ark and spent my weekends and lots more time at her house. She took me in like her 3rd daughter...lots of fun memories at her house with her family. I have not layed eyes on her since Gage was 4 months old. That was WAY too long b/c she is so special to me. So when I heard that she was coming to visit mom for a long weekend...I planned my trip to visit for the day. We had such a fun time and I loved that we got to catch up and that she got to know my 2 youngest boys.

Want a good laugh...check out this video. Gage was "dancing" on the beach...but looked more like a fish out of water "dancing" on the beach to me. This boy is so crazy!

Age of the Dinosaurs

We went to see Age of the Dinosaurs. There were 16 different dinosaurs. They looked real. Gage asked when they came out "are they going to get us?" I said "oh no sweetheart." I held Toby in my lap and GG kept her hand on Gage's leg. Everyone had a great time.
Popcorn, M&M's, Big Sprite, & blue cotton candy
The event was for all ages. They really told the story of the dinosaurs and it was very educational. Plus the dinosaurs just amazed you!
The boy asked for CHIPS!
The largest one was 3 stories tall!
I video little clips during the show (illegally though) but worth it! This video is showing the dinosaur poop...and goes into how the dung beetle is so helpful...blah, blah, blah. Gage just heard the word "poop" and got tickled. On video if you listen close...me: Gage what is that? Gage: poopoo

Then this was the very ending of the ending of the program...the paleotologist and the 6 month old baby T-Rex came out to take a bow.

Thanks GG and Top for the tickets. We had such a great time.

cruising the kitchen

We keep riding toys in our house because sometimes little boys must get out their bottled up energy...here is a great example of Gage and Toby letting out a little of that energy!

The loft at the cabin...

The loft is a magnet to any kid that walks into the cabin. It's lots of fun to be up there but it sure makes parents nervous especially when you have dare devils like I do! Gage loved being up there so Brad was up there just hanging out with him...but then Toby decided he wanted to join their party...
Watching Dennis the Menace from the loft...such a better view! (oh and Toby saying "cheese")
I debated on whether or not to post this video...once you watch it you will see why. Gage is going to kill me for it when he get older. Watch it twice. The first time watch Brad and Toby playing their cute little monster games. The second time...ummm...just watch Gage.

Pump It Up Birthday

We got to go to a Pump It Up birthday party for Gage's friend Marlee! He was so excited about going that he sang "happy birthday to Marlee" all day long. All 3 of my boys had a great time. I was so proud because they all minded me, did not fight, and had great manners...what more could I ask for!
Marlee and Gage
Toby saying "cheese"
This boy knows NO fear! He is climbing out of the basketball court jumpie that all the 9 yr olds were in and he loved being in there with all of them wrestling around him.
Next thing I know...he is climbing up to the top of the big slide with no assistance and is so excited to go down...he is just following Carson and Gage. Once again...knows no fear!
Lola's babies...Carson, Gage, Toby, Brian, Hayes, Marlee, and Avery
All 3 of mine going down the big slide...

Enid Lake 4 of 5 (Nov 09)

Gage telling everyone that he is at Enid Lake camping and having fun!

This is the "cool" game these kids created on our camping trip. They used Toby's old riding toy and would ride it down the steep hill.

The Monster Game

Ok...this is the "monster game" that we play each night. Well I don't play it...I watch 4 crazy boys play this silly game that they invented. Enjoy how we "wind down" before we go to bed.

Me Tarzan

We have a wooded area between our house and the barn. The boys and I were out walking around and Toby went down into the woods. Instead of calling him out immediately I let me wander because it is very open down in there. Well...we came across some vines and boy did we have us a good time...

Toby kept hollering and I could not figure out for the life of me what in the world he wanted...well he wanted to be up on the high vine just like Gage and Carson was doing. I put him up there...it's about chest high where his feet where. He would not let me touch him and would push my hand away when I put it up there...he enjoyed himself...watch and see!
