My Boys...

Toby is just sweet Toby! He is just along for the ride and so happy to be apart of all of our chaos that we have each evening.

The "new" thing around the house is to play "dress up" in all of the costumes we have acquired. Gage transforms into what is he is dressing up as and really takes on that roll. It is too funny whether it is a pirate, the hulk or the cookie monster!

Brad and I try to teach Carson to be a gentleman...he is doing really good at it. He has learned that Mama loves to get special things for him that he finds. I am so lucky...I have a stash of rocks (even a pink one...my favorite color) and a few special sticks. But Carson will pick me flowers when he finds them. The other day we were riding the golfcart on an adventure and came across pretty spring flowers...he and Brad picked me a whole bunch! I love them and these stinkin' boys!

Valentine Card Pictures (bloopers)

Come on Gage...get with the program...this would have been a great pic!

I wonder what Brad is doing behind me to get Gage to make this face!

Ummmm...Gage, Carson, and Elvis?

Great of my Toby...best one!

Ok...this is the one we settled on.

Playing with Toby

Carson is not one to really "play" with Toby. But now since Toby is "coming into his own personality", Carson has started to give him a little attention now and then. Carson has always been BIG on pushing things around. He put Toby into an empty laundry basket and also put his blanket and some books in there too. He and Gage pushed Toby around in the laundry basket for a while...Toby thought it was GREAT fun and so did Carson and Gage. It was fun seeing them all play together.

Our Frog House

Yesterday at school Carson got a red plastic frog. On the drive home he told me all about his frog, we named it, and he told me that we needed to make him a house. So for "play time" yesterday before homework started..he and Gage got together rocks, leaves, and dirt. Then Gage was not very nice and took the frog...after a wild search...Carson found it! Thankgoodness!!! So he had to take it to school today and show his house to all of his friends!

Billy Goat Riding

We went to the Walkers yesterday to look at their barn because Brad is going to build us one so we can house our chickens and eventually goats. They have a pet billy goat named "cookie" that acts just like a dog. The kids love to ride him...Gage was loving it! Can't you tell with the look on this face. When he fell off he said "Daddy, do it again!"

An Evening of Bass Pro Fun

We decided that we needed to get out for a little while so we headed to Bass Pro Shop. My kids LOVE to go there and so does Brad! So it is a win-win situation when I need to leave the farm. We had lots of fun and stopped for ice cream on the way home...a Fun Friday Night had by ALL.

Squeaky Clean Boys!

Tonight Carson and Toby had lots of fun in the bathtub playing. Just thought I would share some of their fun since I have shown lots of Gage pictures lately.

2 Yr Old Sunday School

Ayden, Gage, Avery, and Cooper are such big buddies in Sunday School. Stacy and I teach this class every other month and have so much fun doing it. There is never a dull moment in the hour that we are there. So this month we thought it would be fun to take a picture of the 4 of them and frame it so they would have a picture of their friends to put in their room. They can show their family and also pray for their friends.

Happy 3rd Birthday Avery

Avery had a pricess birthday party...because she is such a prissy princess!

I am sure that I will have another picture of them standing together like this with Avery in a prom dress in about 13 years! Yikes!

Gage showing Avery all of their pictures together. This was too sweet b/c they were both very "into" looking at pictures of themselves.

This was the picture collage that Gage gave Avery for her birthday...it is 8 pictures of them over the past 3 years. They are big friends!

Here are the boys...Toby and Casen are about a month apart and big buddies too! They found water bottles and were entertained for about 15 minutes.

Warrior Gage

I was trying to grab a quick shower Saturday morning before we had to hurry out to Avery's birthday party. Well...Gage was entertaining himself...he had found my lipfinity lipstick. That stuff does NOT want to come off...I tried baby wipes, alcohol, and fingernail polish remover. We had to just go to the party "as is." About half was thru the party when things settled down, Kelli had some eye makeup remover and it came right off. Everyone got a kick out of his warrior paint at the party!

Scary Gage

We were playing at the barn after school...Gage climbed up on the log and made scary faces and noises at me. Plus I just loved this picture!

Mission Friends

I have now become of part of "helping" with 2yr and 3 yr old Mission Friends at church. This month we are taking about cowboys. Shannon come up with these cute cowboy vests and horses that we put manes and tails on. They had SO much fun. We all agreed that we needed to think of more "cowboy" ideas because we had their attention for most of the hour! That is saying a lot for trying to teach about 12 little munchkins!

Happy Birthday Aunt Carla (YaYa)

We went to town tonight to run an errand and stopped by Chick-Fil-A to eat a bite. While we were there we picked up 2 brownies because it was YaYa's birthday. We stopped by her house and sang "Happy Birthday" to her. She LOVED it!!!

We sang and then she blew out the candles with the help of her nephews! Well...Gage did not think he got to blow out enough of the candles. Can you see his lip poking out? Too funny...so we had to relight the candle for him.

Then he was happy and watched YaYa cut the little brownies up into bites for everyone to enjoy.

Oh and then Uncle Sam's Mama found an old spiderman toy of Sam's when he was little and wanted to share it with Carson and Gage. He told them they could take it home...but Brad insisted the we keep it at their house. It made WAY too much noise. It was a fun night and glad that we could spend a little time with Carla on her birthday...we love you Carla.

Beaver, Tractor, Chefs and Darts...

We are having problems with beavers making dams on our land...Brad and Carson set out some traps...they got this HUGE one the first day. I have never seen one this big. Brad said it weighed atleast 40 lbs! I live with such country boys...but I do love them so much.

These 3 pictures are about what Carson asked Santa for this year. Carson sat on Santa's lap and told him that he wanted a real John Deere Tractor like his daddy. Well, we had no idea how we were going to pull it off. Gage's wanted a gun...well he got a nerf gun, and the brothers said that Toby wanted toys and Santa could pull that request off too. But the tractor...HOW? Well, I was talking to my Papa John and he said that he had a tractor that he was not using anymore and we could haul it down. So Santa left Carson a note and told him that his tractor was at Papa John's. New Year's Eve Day we drove up and got it and hauled it back home. This boy was SO excited. He gets to drive it places with the help of his daddy...such a country boy! Thanks Papa John!!!

The Walkers came over today to play and smoke ribs. Brandon and Gage had so much fun being chefs in "their kitchen" while we were all cooking.

Toby Wade is everywhere and he is SO proud of himself. He loves to try and find all of the darts from Gage and Carson's nerf guns and chew on them...yummy huh? He is 10 monthes now!
