popcicles

When Gage thinks of going to GG's house he thinks of strawberry popcicles...
and Toby is catching on really fast!
No lie...when we walk in the door Gage starts talking about them and doesn't let up until we tell him when he can have one and we settle on a time he can have it...like after we get back from the movies tonight, when you take a bath, or in a few minutes when we go outside...the boy loves these strawberry popcicles!

beach boys

My new favorite picture of these 2 beach boys!
drawing pictures in the sand of stuff...GG does this for them and they guess what she has drawn
Jewbal is the new dog and he loves my boys and my boys love him!
Toby's hands were so cold and GG felt so bad for him that she was warming them up.
Fun successful time on the beach...until next time!

M'hall Archery Team

Guess who is also the Archery Coach? These 2 enjoyed the boxes that the 6 bullseyes came in!
A favorite student of mine...Abbie. I know, I know, I know...teachers are not suppose to have favorites. But they do...well I do.
The guys were pretty good at it...all the bows were different bright colors.
Gina and Abbie got pretty good by the end of the first practice!
Carson kept wanting the girls to play football with him.
Carson - "ok girls you throw me the ball, I'll catch it, then you come chase me and tackle me down to the ground" Me - "Carson, these girls can't catch you because you are too fast!" Ummm...really these girls needed to learn archery (not football) but they were sweet and did throw the football with him!

The Big Bird on the Beach

There was a huge herrin on the edge of the water when we crossed over Hwy 90 to go play on the beach. Gage and Toby were so small that the bird did really mind them getting close.
Ummmm...got a little too close!
But it still only flew about 12 or so feet out into the water and we still got to enjoy watching it.
Toby kept saying "bird, bird, bird."

Toby Birthday at Lola's House

I made sure that my boys always have a "school" birthday party...just to sing Happy Birthday and eat yummy cupcakes. So since we don't go to school...we go to Lola's...we celebrate at Lolas!
Mitchell, Toby, Gage, and Sly
Mitchell wore the Captian America costume all day long!
Marlee, Avery, and Brian
Sly
It was a success!

Toby Birthday with US!

I took 7 cupcakes to Lola's (post later today) and kept 5 for our crew. After Carson's Upward Basketball end of the season party last night we had a little celebration for Toby.
Can you tell we visited Ginger yesterday and got HAIRCUTS! Toby really did not know what to think all of us singing a little song to him...he got a little teased.
We told him to blow out his candles...he did not quite get the concept.
He kept saying...Hot, Hot, Hot. Gage got worried once or twice and kept grabbing his hand back so he would not burn himself. (I love how he looks after him.)
dig into the yummy cupcakes...
Loving every bite!
I will try to upload the video...but it is long...2 1/2 minutes!

Happy Birthday Toby

Happy 2nd Birthday to this little Turkey! This little boy has come alive with personality lately and is become quite the character. He has a cute "2" shirt on under his jacket. Loving his bedhead this morning. I hope he has a super day as his first day of 2!
These are the cute cupcakes I had made up for his Lola Birthday Party.

These boys got some cute Valentine cards this year. These are the one's from Ms. Ruth.
We printed out this picture and sent it to her to say a "big thanks!"

Toby Wade

This little boy is a mess. He got his juice, bowl of peanuts, book, & blanket and settled in for a good read. It only lasted about 5 minutes...but it was cute.
"cheese"

How do we get to Heaven?

Our morning conversation on the way to school...

Carson - Mama, I want Sherpa to come back. When is he coming back?

Me - Well, he lives in Heaven now with Jesus. He is Jesus' dog and he is so happy and healthy there. When you die and have Jesus in your heart, you go to Heaven to stay and don't come back to Earth. But it's ok because it will be wonderful to live with Jesus.

Carson - Mama, how do we get to Heaven? Do we just get wings and fly up there?

Me - Well....(I was about to get into salvation...when rudely interrupted)

Gage - NO, Bubba, we get to Heaven by flying up there in an airplane!

Cowboy Up

We all loaded up and went to the Dixie National Rodeo! The 5 of us and Nana and Slick!
I love this horse...I once had a horse similar looking named Camanche.
Gage got a gun and he attempted to shoot all the cows and bulls with it.
The boys had a fun time especially when we got to go down for the concert and run around.

Ocean Springs...

After we played in the snow for a few hours we decided to head down south for a little Mardi Gras fun with the kids and our good friend Doug!
I got to eat this Friday night for part of my supper...yummy! I never get to eat a whole dozen by myself. I did not feel so guilty because they we only $5.00/dozen. YUM! with crackers and cocktail sauce of course!
Then it was way too cold to head out to the Ocean Springs night parade so we went to the Beau Rivage Casino instead and had a blast at the arcade. Go Gage at Wack-a-mole!
Carson is the man at car racing!
Doug wanted them to ride this roller coaster ride...it was fun and the seats would move.
Then we went to Scoops right next door and all got a little ice cream!
Such a fun night away from the snow and yuck at our house!
