New bike & dress-up

Well, Carson Henry HAD to get a new bike b/c his Slick ran over his other one. That is perfectly fine for Carson. This one has no foot brakes and just handle brakes...he is loving it. He is back to his tricks on his ramp now.

Kalli and Carson have always been big buddies. We caught them playing dress up. Kalli was a princess and I assume Carson was her knight in shining armour...with his stick horse!

Playdate with Joan

Last Thursday was Carson's last day school...so we all loaded up and took him to school. Afterwards we went up to Strawberry Patch Park and had "Joan Day." It was fun...Mom (aka GG), Megan, Toby, Gage, and I were all there to meet her. Joan has been saving bread for a week and she was prepared for our first friendly visitors we met. The boys had SO much fun feeding them...my boys have no fear!
Then these 2 Canadian geese showed up. I love Canadian geese. We have 2 each year at our lake and they are so pretty to listen to when they fly down to our lake to swim.
Gage wanted to touch them soooo bad!
We got to play on their neat playground. We don't have good playgrounds around our "neck of the woods" so this was a special treat!
Toby had to be just like Gage which did not surprise me...I'm just thankful Megan were there to watch him every step of the way on this huge climbing thing.
Love this picture of the 2 of them...
We had to take a posed picture of my boys, Joan, and I just for the record books...so here it is!
I have talked on the phone to this lady more hours than I could ever count! She knows more about me and my life than probably anyone...I appreciate her listening ear. We feel sooo close to each other even though we don't see each other too often...we are going to change that b/c I don't want my kids to grow up without her seeing them several times per year...so now that they are a bit older and more transportable...I make that committment you Joan P. White...I want to see you much more this year...sorta of a 1/2 New Years Resolution I guess you'd say!
Love and appreciate you more than you know...love, Amy
O and I start "boy camp" this morning...like NOW! So I have 9 boys...not including my 3 for day camp all week with an over night on Thursday! I'm not crazy. I love it. But any and all prayers for endurance would be much appreciated. Thanks! O and you know I'll post pics soon.

Friends came to play...

While we had the waterslide up we invited friends over to play. The Crains are good friends of ours. Avery is 2 months older than Gage. They are big buddies at church.
Casen is 5 weeks younger than Toby. They were too funny together trying to play my iPhone.

Mexican and Friends!

I had two friends over last night and we had some yummy salsa, tequitoes with cheese and salsa, pineapple slices with a sour/twang salt, and a margarita each. I have to say it was such a yummy meal and good conversation with friends. It was nice to visit with friends and girl talk (you know since I do live in a house with 4 boys!)
Gage was still up (my little night owl) and loved the idea that we asked him to take our photo!
Thanks girls for the nice dinner and conversation! We will have to set another date!

Happy Bday Colt!

Colt Puckett is 4! We had a great time celebrating his birthday at his new house in his big backyard. The cupcake cake was too cute and it was a huge hit among all the kids. Adults loved it too because the cake was already cut...just grab a piece! Colt got a couple Bob the Builder DVDs which we are HUGE fans of if you don't remember that post click HERE!

Colt and Gage are trying to decide which cupcake to eat first...I lost count of how many they ate. What matters most is that they had a wonderful time together on their sugar filled high!
Earlier in the day they all had a blast on the waterslide. You would have thought Toby was the same age at Colt and Gage...he hung right with them! Can't you tell how much fun he's having!
I love this picture of Colt! He was so happy to be on that waterslide with his buddy Gage!

Gage slid down and bumped Colt who had not had a nap that day...in about 3 seconds after we told him that he was going to be ok...he was back at climbing up the slide. See what I mean about Toby...just hanging with the big boys!

These 2 are such buddies! I just eat them up!
Happy Birthday Colt! I love you very much!

Meet Chandler

This past Thursday I had the most wonderful day! My awesome friend Alicia was having her 3rd baby and she asked me to be there to take pictures of Chander after she was born so she could have those sweet memories forever...I was so honored! It was an amazing day...if I must say so myself. But before all that happened I thought I needed to do something special for her. I made her a sign for her hospital door that she could take home and put in Chandler's room. Didn't know what it would look like then it all just started coming together...thankgoodness!

Pained the blue/white picture frame a brown color with a white wash....
She wanted chocolate and pink colors...so I did a stripe and then white washed it too.
Here is my final product...I thought it really came together and looked great!
Ummmm....meet Chanler Tatum Puckett! She is too sweet and cute...I just eat her up!
Here is Alicia and I about 3 hours after Miss Chandler arrived...she looks great!

2 silly videos

Well one week of school down...it has been crazy tough getting back in the swing of things: Brad on the bus route, 3 boys ready for school/Lola's house, oh yeah and me ready too! I just have to get back into total routine mode that I have been out of for 10 weeks while all 5 of us just "played house." I feel like I have turned into a "weekend blogger"...but atleast I'm still a blogger...I love it...it's my stess reliever.

Gage has learned a new trick by watching Slick...he calls the dogs just like Slick does and it is too funny. Ummm and he knows he is too funny too. enjoy a good laugh!

We had some good friends over last night...the Walkers. KK, poor thing, is the only girl between all 5 of our kids. She is so girly but can run with the boys when she wants. She was showing off her new talents last night...backbends. She is pretty darn good at them if I say so myself.

Wii with friends

Went to Amy's house (my great friend that I teach with, eat her watermelons, and visit with). She had her nephew (Gage) and niece (Avery) over spending the night. We brought over Mario Kart and let Gage and Carson race each other...super fun and got sort of competitive imagine that with boys. But we only have 1 remote so we can't do that at our house...so that was different for them. Thanks Amy for the fun but crazy couple of hours!

Friday night with friends...

Last night was a lot of fun especially for Gage and Toby because we got to hang out with their friends...Avery, Casen, and Caden! Kelli made yummy lasanga, I bought salad, and Ashley made her wonderful strawberry cake and also homemade salsa/chips for an appetizer. We ate then let all the kids go outside and play on the swingset. Ashley is trying to get her facebook set up and she asked me to take a picture of her and Caden for her profile pic...turn out cute I thought.

Gage and Avery were wild when they were swinging...they would not stay in their own lanes...you can tell here! They kept swinging their legs around and hitting one another. These 2 are a pair when they are together. At one point during the night they were on a small 4-wheeler with Gage infront. Avery put her arms around Gage and kissed him on the neck and just grinned...she is a mess. Then later on we were trying to get a cute picture of them together and Gage put his arm around her...Avery said "Mama, why is he putting his arm around me?" grinning the entire time.
Caden is such a sweet and quiet little boy...

Gage-man on top of the swingset...and proud of his accomplishment!
I love this picture of Casen!
Ok...then the mama's wanted to attempt a pic of the 3 little boys. This is when it got interesting. Caden would not quit loving on Toby and Casen and leaning into them. We were laughing so hard at them...we would sit them down and immediately Caden would start leaning. Toby was NOT happy about his personal space being invaded!

We finally settled on this one and quit!

Our last day with 7 kids

Last day with all of the 7...a side ponytail and a waffle is what Miss Maddi ordered for breakfast.

For Eva and Gage...just waffles...no side ponytails!

Before we headed out for our last day of VBS...here is my crew! Maddi 4, Eva 1, Gracie 6, Gage 3, Toby 1, Hunter 5, and Carson 5.

After VBS we ate leftovers from the week and all decided to chill instead of doing pool/waterslide. We watched the movie Wall-E while the babies slept.

We invited Heaven over so she and Gracie could play again. They attempted to play HiHoCherrio with Hunter and Gage but it did not go very well...good attempt though. The boys just wanted to throw the cherries everywhere...we excused them from the game!

Maddi napped while all of this was going on. We had popsicles for snack and she woke up right as everyone was finishing their popsicles...she was so heartbroken that she thought she missed out. I reassured her that she still would get a popsicle...so she got a little loving and TLC along with her purple popsicle.
It was such a super fun week...but exhausting! I slept until 8am this morning when Gage and Carson climbed into my bed...we woke Toby up at 8:30...we all needed a little sleep! I will miss those 4 guys/girls that I got the pleasure of loving on this week. Especially those mornings of fixing hair...it really did make me want to have a little girl...Slick was right!

Day 4...It's a workout!

Day 4...we are all still here and smiling! Remember we have had VBS all week. I was assistant director until Monday morning at 7am when I had to step it up a notch...Sharon had a horrible stomach bug. I said sure no problem...don't worry...and have enjoyed every minute of it! I was suppose to take Eva to the daycare at our church while I was doing VBS...but how could you take "this" to daycare b/c I just eat her up. I kept her! Yep...I do VBS everyday with Eva on the hip. We have become quite the pair...I will miss this TINY little woman. If Eva is not here on my hip...
She might be found here! This is Earl...we love Earl because he gives my hip and arm a break. Eva won't go to many men this week...but she LOVES Earl...and he loves Eva! He finds me several times during the day and just takes her from her from me...she goes very with open arms! Usually around 11am...

You will find Eva here! Yep...I can't get her to take a nap...but Earl can. She just curls up on his shoulder and neck with her thumb and blanket. I have to speak at VBS tomorrow night at during the welcome and I'm seriously thinking about having her on my hip while I do my little speech...it would just feel so natural!

Waffles were on the menu for breakfast this morning...

After VBS we had chicken nuggets and "roni" for lunch then went to the pool today without swimmies. Yesterday they all had on swimmies and the chlorine and the rubber from the swimmies made a rash on their arms...we put neosporine on them and they are fine. Gracie's was the worst but she doesn't complain at all about them. They did GREAT without their swimmies and I convinced them all to put their heads under the water. Gage did awesome...he jumped to me in the deep end and actually started to swim a little...about 2 or 3 feet. He is coming along. He is strong enough to do it. I just have to find the time to take him daily now because it will just take practice...but he will have it down by the end of the summer! Woohoo!!

Slick told Brad yesterday that I needed to get these girls home as soon as I could because if I kept them too long I will would telling Brad that I needed one really bad. Ummm...I confess...he is right. As much work as girls are with all their "stuff" I have LOVED having some girls in my house this week. I have especially loved fixing hair each morning.

Gage and Maddi are both such a mess!

Hunter had a BLAST in the pool today without swimmies. He was just all over the place.

We came back to the house for a little waterslide fun and had a little snack...red juice, graham crackers, and peanut butter...they ate it "all gone" (as my kids say).

Toby thinks he is such a big dog...trying to climb up the waterslide.
Day 4 in now in the bag. I'm tired but so ready for VBS tomorrow.
