Easter was fun this year...the boys got excited about the Easter Bunny coming. All Carson has asked for is flipflops...so that is what he got. Gage just got pumped about all of the candy!
Toby loved his pig that sings the "hey song"...he rocks back and forth when you play it for him. After diving into baskets we got ready for church. We picked wild flowers on the way to church b/c all of the Sunday School classes were going to put flowers on the cross out on the front lawn. It was beautiful. We along with 2 other couples volunteered to keep nursery...it was wild but we all had a great time in what I call organized chaos!
After naps, we headed over to Nana and Slick's house to dye eggs. It is a tradition with Nana...we gotta do it and it's so much fun to dye eggs with her! I made the boys strip down to their underwear because I did not want dye on their clothes...just all over their hands and tummy I guess.
Gage loved this mess...
Carson is neat non-messy (most of the time) kid!
Toby was stuck inside while we dyed eggs...
Nana and Slick gave the boys balls and gloves for Easter and so we had to practice last night in the living room with their new gloves. They are getting the hang of it.
Carson keeps telling us that he wants to be the "winner" meaning he wants to be good at catching the ball. We are trying to continually explain to him that to be a winner you have to practice, practice, practice. It is Gage that loves to practice...Carson just wants to be the "winner". They are such total opposites!
